My daughter and I are currently enjoying the vibrant culture, stunning landscapes, and warm hospitality of Mexico! 
From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this beautiful country has so much to offer. The people here are incredibly friendly and patient, reminding us that life doesn’t always have to move at a breakneck pace like it does in the US.
Instead, everyone seems to embrace a more laid-back, family-oriented vibe that makes you feel right at home.
The Cash Reality Check
Now, let’s get real for a second. In the US, credit is KING. But in Mexico? Cash reigns supreme! 
I learned this lesson the hard way when my credit and debit cards decided to take a vacation of their own—despite notifying my bank.
Note to self: next time, bring more cash and fewer cards!
A Shoutout to Selena
Amidst all the adventure, we encountered some truly amazing people, and I have to give a special shoutout to Selena, the hostess at the Quartz Hotel.
This woman is an absolute gem! 
She greeted us with a smile that could light up the darkest of rooms and made it her mission to ensure we found something delicious on the menu. Whether she was serving drinks by the pool or breakfast in the restaurant, her attentiveness and warmth made our dining experiences unforgettable.
Selena truly embodies the spirit of hospitality that we’ve felt throughout our trip. It’s these interactions that remind us of the beauty of connecting with others, even when language can sometimes be a barrier.

As we explore the rich culture of Mexico, I am reminded traveling together with my daughter not only strengthens our bond but also teaches valuable lessons about the world around us.
